I am a board member of the Young
Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Wisconsin. The board was challenged by attorney Karen Bauer of
Milwaukee to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Karen further suggested that whoever accepted this challenge
for the board should challenge State Bar of Wisconsin President-Elect Ralph Cagle
and President Robert Gagan. I
decided to put my own Yooper spin on the challenge by jumping off Marquette’s
Black Rocks into the icy waters of Lake Superior on a balmy 61-degree day.
